before you start

Do I need a GP referral to start?
No. You can start your free assessment directly through Sheba without a referral. Our consultant doctors review your case independently.
How long does the assessment take?
The online assessment takes around 10 minutes. Your consultant will review it and issue a clinical decision within 48 hours.
What happens if I'm not eligible?
If our doctors determines that GLP-1 treatment isn't right for you at this stage, you'll receive a clear explanation and, where appropriate, guidance on alternative options. You won't be charged.
How is Sheba different from other GLP-1 services?
Most services use a nurse prescriber or automated questionnaire. At Sheba, at reviews every case — someone who understands how hormonal conditions like PCOS, perimenopause, and endometriosis interact with weight and metabolism.
Can I join if I'm already on GLP-1 medication from another provider?
Yes. We regularly see patients switching mid-treatment. Our doctors will review your history and determine the appropriate starting point, you won't automatically have to restart from the lowest dose.
